This course offers self-management mindfulness-based strategies for those living with persistent pain or ill health and the stress that arises as a result of these. It provides a tool kit of resources that can be applied to daily life. You will learn to develop these strategies in a warm and friendly group setting.

Course details, 2010

Beginning October 4th we will be running a Breathworks Living Well with Pain and Illness course with NHS Leeds Expert Patients Programme. This is an eight week course, to be held on Monday afternoons from 1.00 to 3.30pm, and aimed primarily at people living with chronic pain. The course will be held at Leeds Buddhist Centre, in the centre of Leeds. The Expert Patient Program in Leeds runs a range of courses for people with long term health problems and for carers, and this is the first time we have worked together to offer our Breathworks Living Well with Pain and Illness course with them. The course is free of charge, and EPP can help with transport costs.

If you are interested in attending this course you need to apply through the Expert Patients Program, Phone: 0113 305 7591 or 07944 299403, email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
