Breathworks Living Well with Pain and Illness Courses - Worcester PDF Print

The Breathworks Living Well with Pain and Illness programme is an eight week course followed by an optional day retreat.

This course offers self-management mindfulness-based strategies for people living with persistent pain or ill health, and the stress that can often result.

  • it provides a tool kit of resources for daily life
  • you will learn to develop these strategies in a warm and friendly group setting
  • Breathworks courses are entirely secular and are open to anyone regardless of race, religion or gender.

Course Details

  • Dates: Next course starts on 16th September 2010 and ends 4th November with an optional day retreat on 3rd December 2010
  • Time: Thursday afternoons, 2 – 4:30 pm. Day retreat 10 am - 4 pm

Costs

  • Eight week course: £200 waged, £150 low waged, £120 state benefits. The cost includes refreshments, three guided meditation CD sets and a handbook
  • Day retreat £35 / £25 (includes lunch)

Venue

  • Quakers Meeting House, Samsome Walk, Worcester, WR1 1UG. There is parking for drivers with a Blue Badge.
