Breathworks Teacher Training

If you are a interested in becoming a Breathworks Mindfulness Teacher, want to add the Breathworks approach to your skill set, or are looking to use mindfulness in your work, we offer training to suit your needs.

Our full training programme teaches participants to run our signature 8-week courses Mindfulness for Health (MfH) and Mindfulness for Stress (MfS). There are prerequisites for entry into the Breathworks training programme which include some familiarity with the Breathworks approach plus a minimum of one year meditation and mindfulness practice.

  • If you are a health professional new to mindfulness and are interested in using mindfulness in your work, we offer Mindfulness and Compassion courses which also meet the prerequisites for full Breathworks Teacher Training.

  • If you are new to mindfulness, we offer a number of courses to introduce you to the Breathworks approach to mindfulness (MBPM), support you in establishing a regular mindfulness practice and prepare you for Breathworks training. Whether or not there is a course near you, whether you are able bodied or not, whether you prefer gradual, weekly or intensive learning, Breathworks has a course that enables you to prepare for our training.

  • If you are an MBCT or MBSR teacher, wanting to add MBPM to your skill set, Breathworks offers a 3-day course for MBSR/MBCT Teachers. You will learn how to incorporate the Breathworks approach to pain and illness into your mindfulness teaching. If you would like to become an accredited Breathworks teacher, you can continue directly onto our advanced training (TTa) after completing this course.

If you participated in TT1 prior to 2014, we ask that you apply to introductory teacher training (TTi). If you participated in TT2 prior to 2014, we ask that you apply to advanced teacher training (TTa).
