Breathworks Mindfulness Trainer Ann Bruton (Bodhaniya) PDF Print

I am a retired medical practitioner and spent thirty years in general practice in Essex and Northfield, Birmingham. Over my years in medical practice I had seen many people with chronic conditions for whom I felt support was inadequate.

I have practised and taught meditation for fifteen years. In 1999 I was ordained into the Western / Triratna Buddhist order and given the name Bodhaniya.

When I came across the Breathworks course I realised that it offered a very valuable resource for those with chronic pain and stress. In 2005 I trained with the Breathworks team. I recently lived for two years in New Zealand in a Buddhist meditative community. While there I ran Living Well with Pain and Living Well with Stress courses in Wellington and the local town.

I have now returned to live in Birmingham, and I am delighted to be able to offer Living Well with Pain and Illness courses in the area.
