Breathworks Mindfulness Trainer Pammy Michell PDF Print

Pammy Michell has been practising meditation for over thirty years.  She is a trained primary teacher but her main career has been in social work in Birmingham, working with all client groups - children and families, elders, people with physical and/or learning disability, mental ill health, and people in hospital.

She has two children and was a single parent, during which time she trained as a parenting trainer and adviser. She is an experienced counsellor and co-counselling teacher, and has trained to intermediate level in family therapy.  She attended one of the first Breathworks courses and found it so helpful for her back pain and general life stress that she decided to become a Breathworks trainer.  She teaches with her partner Paul Shevlin.

Pammy says:

“Mindfulness helps me to cope with pain and illness and the stresses life inevitably brings. It has also helped me to maintain a sense of balance and live my life more fully”

Course participants have commented:

“Pammy is very clear and thoughtful in her communication and models the self-acceptance that mindfulness promotes”

“Pammy and Paul are both very good communicators, using examples when appropriate, demonstrating, sharing and being mindful of each of us as individuals.  I really appreciate their sense of fun.  A very good course, which I will recommend to others.”
