Hi, I'm Upekshadaka (Bart Van den Berghe). I live in Gent, Belgium.

My unusual name betrays the fact that I'm a Buddhist. It's out of this inspiration, out of my passion for meditation and out of my pleasure in teaching, that I've set up Breathworks courses in Gent.

Although I'm clearly inspired by Buddhism, Breathworks courses in Gent are secular courses and open to anyone. You don't have to be or feel a Buddhist to experience the benefits of the Breathworks mindfulness program.

In daily life I work as a teacher, teaching basic computer skills to people with mental restrictions and to elderly people. I'm also active in the Gent Buddhist Centre where amongst other things, I've been teaching meditation for the last couple of years.
