The Breathworks Foundation

Making mindfulness accessible

We are a registered charity, with a mission is to make mindfulness accessible to everyone. Being an organisation that gives back has been important to us from the very beginning. Our Founder Vidyamala was living on benefits for many years before she was able to secure funding through a disability grant to start Breathworks. We know that many who benefit the most from our services are least able to afford it, so we are committed to help those in need through bursaries, scholarships, free resources and other funding initiatives.

Support us today.

This fun filled charity cycle ride is about taking on the challenge and seeing the sights. It's not a race and it's not timed.

Participants were Sona Fricker (Breathworks Co-Founder) who at 70 is still pretty fit. For his 70th Birthday present he was given an electric mountain bike. He said "This was a fantastic present as I now have no resistance to getting out on my bike. Around where I live there are hills in most direction. Although I cycle more than 15 mph on the flat without the assistance of the electric motor, it is a dream going up even steep hills with the battery assistance. I'm in training but haven't manage to cycle 50km yet but confident it will be no problem on the  Liverpool Ride with friends." He rode with:

Karen Levin who works for Breathworks CIC as Partnerships Coordinator for Mindfulness in the Workplace

Vidyapala who is our CEO's partner

Deb Burch twin sister to Vidyamala (Breathworks Founder)

Dave Sims Deb's husband
