The most transformative level of listening is one imbued with a firmly grounded presence, ever-expansive availability and deep compassion. At its best, enquiry is a process by which we listen whole-heartedly to our participants from this place of stillness, spaciousness, and love, allowing what emerges from that space to guide us.

How do we cultivate this space within us so that it is readily available to us, and ultimately our participants? Join me in exploring the potential for your personal practice of mindfulness and kindness to inform your enquiries with participants. We'll look at the essential role of enquiry as a way to authentically model qualities we hope our participants will learn to embody for themselves, grounded in our own lived experience. And we'll explore how key skills like reflecting back, asking open-ended questions, and holding the space without any sense of urgency or need for resolution can catalyze deep transformation in our participants' relationship with themselves, others and the world.
