Be Kind; Everyone You Meet is Fighting a Hard Battle

Compassion has the power to transform our world, our relationship to physical pain, anxiety and emotional suffering.

In this one-day masterclass, we'll begin by exploring compassion for ourselves, examining some of the obstacles to self-compassion and some of the different and unexpected issues that may arise when we practice or teach compassion-based skills to others. Extending the circle of kindness to include others and the world around us, we’ll touch into the power of connectivity and common humanity.

The four compassion-based practices delivered on the Breathworks Mindfulness for Health Course will provide the focus for practice and discussion. Through them, we will inquire into the four qualities of unconditioned love (loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity) that support a mindful life.
