Being an organisation that gives back has been important to us from the very beginning. Our Founder Vidyamala was living on benefits for many years before she was able to secure funding through a disability grant to start Breathworks. We know that many who benefit the most from our services are least able to afford it, so we are committed to help those in need through bursaries, scholarships, free resources and other funding initiatives. These images are expressions of that love. Over a number of years I took photos on journeys: out of car windows, from trains, while peering down a road. I was captivated by the light and shadow - and the movement. Images appeared that I could never have created with my conscious mind. In the movement of journeying exquisite moments of stillness found form. I think this is like life: always flowing and moving and yet these astonishing moments of beauty appear that can take our breath away if we pause long enough to notice.
