Breathworks are looking for at least two new Trustees to join our pioneering organisation supporting people with pain, illness and stress.

We want to build a diverse team with different skills and talents to help Breathworks continue in its journey of growth and evolution as a Charity. Underpinned by our Anti-racism Strategy, we want to ensure all of our teams, including our Board, are representative of the richness of human diversity in terms of background, identity, ability and circumstance. To this end, we are actively seeking individuals who are interested in becoming Trustees who identify as one or all of the following:

  • A person of colour
  • From a minority group in the UK
  • From a disadvantaged background

We would particularly welcome individuals who also live with a long-term health condition and / or disability. We are also interested in hearing from you if you have experience in any of the following areas:

  • Fundraising / Income generation
  • Mindfulness research
  • Grant making
  • Health Service / Public Sector Commissioning

Please do not be put off from applying if you do not have any of these skills or if you have never been a Trustee before. The most important qualities for our Trustees are enthusiasm, engagement and a desire to get involved and make a contribution to Breathworks.  If you haven’t sat on a Board before, this could be a great first step and we are members of NCVO where trustee training can be provided and peer mentoring with another more experienced board member is available.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organisation at all levels, including our Board.
