Mindfulness for Stress course

“I'm already noticing big changes in myself. Several members of my family and friends have noticed as well, and commented on how much happier I seem. It's amazing, and I feel so much more 'alive'. I'm so glad I came on your course - it's one of the best things I've ever done."

Happiness is a skill. This is what the ancient practice of mindfulness teaches, and what modern psychology research has shown. The wonderful thing is that this skill, just like driving or dancing, can be learned, and it can stay with you for a lifetime.

About The Course

Our brains were designed to survive - not to be happy. A great deal of stress is caused by the fact that our brains are trying to use stone-age techniques in the modern world.

However, happiness and calm are skills that can be learned, just like driving or dancing, and can stay with you for a lifetime.

At the end of this 8-week course you will have a foundation in the skills of mindfulness, compassion, and meditation, and know how to apply them in your life in a way that really makes a difference.

"I signed up to the course as part of my recovery process from extreme work related burnout, I hoped to develop practical skills to help me not only recover, but also to bring more balance, clarity, acceptance and ease into my life. This is absolutely what I experienced - the course structure enabled me to build naturally on my learning from one week to the next; and the combination of formal and informal practices meant that the learning began to permeate and benefit my days and weeks in many different ways.

I benefited from being in a group setting via zoom, and from the breakout discussions with my peers, and learning from others experiences."

How to Deal With Obstacles in Meditation

Why You Find Mindfulness Practice Difficult

Everybody struggles with mindfulness practice at some time or another. You try your best, but don’t seem to be making any progress. Sometimes the distance between our actual experience and the mindfulness that we had hoped to embody can seem like a measuring stick for something wrong with us...
