Donna has been a Breathworks Mindfulness teacher trainer since 2014 supervisor since 2016 and has been practicing mindfulness since 2011.

Prior to becoming a Mindfulness teacher and coaching supervisor, I was an Executive in the public sector and before that a director in the private sector. It was while suffering with the mental and physical symptoms of stress and anxiety, in that former environment, that I was introduced to Mindfulness. I completed an 8-week MBSR course with Bangor University Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, which helped me to develop my own mindfulness practice routines which I’ve continued with to this day.

It was the benefit I gained from Mindfulness and the improvement in my mental wellbeing that convinced me to share it with others and I have been teaching Breathworks' Mindfulness courses since 2014. Over the years I’ve trained with various leading organisations to broaden and deepen my knowledge so that I have a large base from which to help students.

In addition to teaching mindfulness and Mental Health First Aid I volunteer in the mental health sector for Surrey and Borders NHS trust facilitating courses at their recovery college and I’m a trained volunteer on the Crisis Text Line SHOUT.
