How to Ease Anxiety: A Mindful Approach Purchase for £10 Here 💻 Format: Online 2-part workshop (2.5hr total)🙋♀ Suitable For: All experience levels Overview In this two-part workshop, psychotherapist and Breathworks Associate Teacher Julia Lofts explores why we experience anxiety and how it shows up in our lives. Drawing on both her clinical work and her own lived experience, Julia balances the science of anxiety with simple, practical ways to work with it, so you come away with a clearer understanding of your own patterns and a set of tools to return to. What You'll Gain A grounding in the science of anxiety: an accessible look at how the brain and nervous system shape anxious thinking and behaviour. A way to recognise your own patterns: guidance on identifying the root causes and personal triggers behind your anxiety, including health-related anxiety. Practices you can keep using: guided meditations, breath-work and mindful movement, ranging from quick SOS techniques to longer-term relief. An understanding of anxiety and the body: how anxiety interacts with pain and physical health, drawn from Julia's clinical and personal experience. Two Q&A sessions where participants' questions are met from both a psychotherapeutic and a mindfulness perspective. Is This Event For Me? This workshop is open to anyone who would like to understand and work with their anxiety more effectively. Suitable for all levels of experience, including those new to mindfulness. Mindfulness teachers may also find elements of this session useful for CPD, particularly Julia's framing of the nervous system and her approach to working with different types of anxiety, including health-related anxiety.
