Our Charity Making Mindfulness Accessible Join us in bringing life-changing skills to those who need it most Breathworks is a pioneering mindfulness organisation that has transformed over 100,000 lives since 2001. As a registered charity, we're dedicated to making mindfulness accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. Mindfulness has transformed countless lives, and we're here to make its life-changing benefits accessible to those who need it most. How We Make a Difference Through our evidence-based programmes, expert teachers, and vibrant global community, we provide the tools and support needed to manage pain, illness, and stress - helping people live fuller lives. Bursaries We believe financial barriers shouldn't prevent access to mindfulness. That’s why 1/3 of places on trainings and courses are offered as bursaries. We also offer sliding scale rates on all our events. Free Resources We offer regular free guided practices for the public, free courses, and our Community of Practice online hub - a handy mindfulness resource for learning, practicing and staying connected with others. Seed Funding We fund community-led mindfulness projects to reach underserved groups, from supporting refugees and their caregivers in the UK to helping grieving parents find healing through mindfulness practices. Learn more about our impact Why Giving Back Matters Breathworks has been built on the principle of giving back. Our founder, Vidyamala, who experienced the life-changing power of mindfulness, established Breathworks while living on benefits from the help of a disability grant. This spirit of generosity continues to drive us. Many of those who need our services the most - individuals experiencing financial hardship, health challenges, or social exclusion - are also those who can least afford it. That’s why we’re committed to: Offering bursaries and scholarships Providing free mindfulness resources Funding innovative community projects to bring mindfulness to the people and places that need it most Watch Vidyamala's story A Legacy of Compassion: The Aryamati Bursary Fund Breathworks' bursary programme was established through the generous legacy of Aryamati Olga Kenyon, a passionate mindfulness advocate who found relief from her own chronic pain through Breathworks. Her gift allowed us to launch our bursary programme, ensuring that financial circumstances never prevent anyone from accessing the life-changing benefits of mindfulness. Your Impact Who Benefits? Reaching Communities in Need Through partnerships with charities and community groups, we bring mindfulness to people facing barriers to access. Our mission is to ensure mindfulness reaches everyone who can benefit from it, especially those who need it most. How You Can Help To sustain our mission, we need your support.
