Designed by Breathworks Founder Vidyamala Burch, HEALS is an 11-week online course that empowers you to make meaningful lifestyle changes in a way that feels manageable and sustainable. You'll join a like-minded cohort, guided by an experienced Associate Teacher, to explore key areas such as nutrition, sleep, and movement—all through a mindful and compassionate lens.

Developed by a Global Leader in Mindfulness for Health

After a spinal injury left her with chronic pain as a teenager, Vidyamala Burch turned to mindfulness and meditation as a way to manage her symptoms. This led her to develop Mindfulness for Health, a pioneering programme that has now reached over 100,000 people and is recognised worldwide.

But mindfulness was just one piece of the puzzle. Over the years, Vidyamala benefitted from hundreds of conversations with healthcare professionals and others living with health challenges about broader health management. Rather than one miracle solution, it was many small, sustainable changes across different aspects of her life that made the greatest difference.

HEALS distills over two decades of insights into practical lessons and guided practices, all within a supportive group setting led by an experienced teacher.

HEALS is designed for anyone looking to take care of their health in a sustainable, manageable way, particularly if you:

Do I Need Experience with Mindfulness & Meditation?

Mindfulness is woven throughout HEALS—it underpins everything we explore. Each week includes guided meditations in the live sessions, as well as a library of mindfulness practices to try in your daily life.

  • If you already have some experience with mindfulness—perhaps from a course like Mindfulness for Health—HEALS offers a way to take those skills further, applying mindfulness to movement, sleep, habit change, and more.

  • If you’re new to mindfulness, you’re very welcome to join. The course introduces key mindfulness principles in the first week and revisits them throughout, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn and practise.

    The weekly 2-hour live sessions bring the course to life. These sessions include:

    🏠 Recommended practices to try at home to consolidate each week's learning

    Worried about committing? Whilst we encourage you to attend as many live sessions as possible, it is not a requirement to join every session. All live sessions are recorded and available for you to watch back in your own time.

    All course materials are housed in our free online community platform, the Community of Practice. You’ll gain access to a private space exclusive to your course cohort, where you’ll find:

    Breathworks is a UK registered charity with a mission to make mindfulness accessible to everyone. When you purchase a ticket for one of our events, you are not only investing in your own wellbeing, but paying it forward to someone else in need - All profits are reinvested to support our charitable work, helping us cover essential costs like staff, operations, and expanding our impact
