Making mindfulness accessible

We are a registered charity, with a mission is to make mindfulness accessible to everyone. Being an organisation that gives back has been important to us from the very beginning. Our Founder Vidyamala was living on benefits for many years before she was able to secure funding through a disability grant to start Breathworks. We know that many who benefit the most from our services are least able to afford it, so we are committed to help those in need through bursaries, scholarships, free resources and other funding initiatives.

What difference will my gift make?

Your gift will make a huge difference to the amount of mindfulness and compassion programmes we can deliver and the number of people we are able to reach. Breathworks provides funding for those unable to afford courses and events because of financial and health constraints, 1/3 of our places on events are given away on bursaries or scholarships. Your gift will help us continue to support those individuals, as well as drive our work to fund more community mindfulness projects. How do I leave a gift to Breathworks in my Will?

You will need to let your solicitor know that you would like to leave a gift to The Breathworks Foundation when you are making or updating your Will. Your solicitor will be able to talk you through the steps, including the different types of gift you can make.
