The Breathworks Foundation

Making mindfulness accessible

We are a registered charity, with a mission is to make mindfulness accessible to everyone. Being an organisation that gives back has been important to us from the very beginning. Our Founder Vidyamala was living on benefits for many years before she was able to secure funding through a disability grant to start Breathworks. We know that many who benefit the most from our services are least able to afford it, so we are committed to help those in need through bursaries, scholarships, free resources and other funding initiatives.

Support us today.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Breathworks is a charity with a mission to make mindfulness accessible to everyone. This past year has been a difficult one for us, as it has been for many, and we are in need of donations more than ever to continue our charitable work. Small Charity Week is 19 - 25 June, so we’ve set a target to raise £10k by the end of June.

We have over 20,000 friends of Breathworks across our social media platforms, newsletter and online Community of Practice. With the support of everyone donating what they can, we know we will be able to meet that goal.

WHAT YOUR DONATIONS WILL GO TOWARDS

We know that many who benefit the most from our services are those who live with long-term health conditions and other challenging difficulties which make them unable to work.

To help make mindfulness accessible to them, we provide:

  1. Bursaries & scholarships: we are committed to offering sliding-scale fees on all of our programmes
  2. Free mindfulness resources: our Community of Practice platform and weekly live Space to Breathe meditations are available for anyone to join
  3. Funding for community-led projects: reaching underserved groups through seed-funded projects

Consider donating what you can today via this secure payment page. Remember, if you're a UK taxpayer, opting in for Gift Aid makes your gift go further!

With immense gratitude,

The Breathworks Team
