Our Practice Days have been designed to supercharge your mindfulness practice. Whether you are looking to get back on track with your meditation, want an opportunity to practise with others or simply would like the opportunity to refresh your knowledge, this day is for you.

On this Practice Day you will:

  • Immerse yourself in mindfulness guided by an expert teacher.
  • Reconnect with your meditation practice.
  • Learn something new or remind yourself of helpful practices you may have lost touch with.
  • Pause from everyday life to find rest and restoration.
  • Connect with other like-minded meditators.

Through the day, you’ll be led in a range of Breathworks meditations, including a body scan, mindful movement, breath and compassion meditations.

This event counts as Continuous Professional Development for Breathworks Teachers.

Who is This Event For?

  • People who have previously attended a Breathworks course or retreat.
  • People who have a meditation practice of more than 2 months and who have some background reading of the Breathworks approach (either Mindfulness for Health by Vidyamala Burch & Danny Penman or The Little Mindfulness Workbook by Gary Hennessey)

Tips for Online Practice Days

The day will be well paced, with regular screen breaks. Here are a few things to help you get the most out of an online practice day:

  • Dedicate a quiet space in your home where you can practise undisturbed.
  • Let friends, family and others know that you are on a practice day so that they can respect your environment.
  • Unplug from as many digital distractions as possible.
  • Keep hydrated.
  • If possible, prepare your meals beforehand so that you can relax in the break periods.
  • Wear loose and comfy clothing.
