Click here to read more about the programme This Blended Learning format offers the same evidence-based programme, but with greater flexibility around how and when you engage with the course content. Unlike our teacher-led courses, which run with weekly 2-hour live teaching sessions, this option allows you to learn independently in your own time whilst also having the opportunity to connect with an experienced teacher and others taking part in the course. How it works This flexible format sits somewhere between our teacher-led format and our fully self-study course. You’ll move through the 8-week programme independently, with the option to attend five online meet-ups hosted by an experienced Breathworks teacher. These sessions offer the opportunity to ask questions about the topics covered, as well as group meditation practice and connection. Unlike our teacher-led format, these sessions do not include formal teaching. You'll also have access to a private discussion forum, where — should you wish to — you can share how you're getting on with the course and connect with others taking part. Not sure which format is right for you? Home Practice Mindfulness is something we learn through practice - it’s not just about reading or watching videos, but about applying it in daily life. Each week, you’ll be invited to try simple guided meditations and everyday mindfulness exercises that help bring what you’re learning into your day-to-day routine. The recommended home practice is around 10–20 minutes of guided meditation on at least 5 days per week, along with informal exercises like bringing mindful awareness to daily activities. The home practice is included in all three course formats. Do I have to do the home practice to take part? Home practice is strongly encouraged to help you experience the full benefit of the course — but we understand life can sometimes get in the way, especially when managing health challenges. Think of it like attending physiotherapy: showing up for appointments alone will help, but you may see quicker or deeper results if you also practise a few stretches between sessions. Above all, there’s no pressure to do it “perfectly” - it's giving it a go in whatever way feels possible for your circumstances. Where This is an online Course. The course will be held on our easy to use virtual learning platform Community of Practice, and the optional fortnightly sessions will be held via Zoom - an easy-to-use online webinar/conference call programme.
