The Breathworks Foundation was established to ensure that mindfulness and compassion training is available to everyone, regardless of circumstances. It brings to life the vision of Vidyamala Burch, Breathworks Co-Founder, who passionately believes that no person or community should be excluded from Breathworks training programmes and courses simply through financial or personal hardship. This is based on her experience of living with severe pain and disability all her adult life.
A night cycle ride on Saturday 13th July to help raise funds for The Breathworks Foundation. Five gallant volunteers ranging from 38-70 will be riding through the streets of Liverpool. See how you can support them.
Nadia is stretching herself by walking 24 miles and over 5,000 feet ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks not in the day but at night! Read more about her story and how you can support her.
Help enable anyone to attend our courses and training programmes, regardless of circumstances.
I'm taking up the fun challenge to cycle 50kms at night around the streets of Liverpool, alongside my wife Deb and Breathworks team, raising funds to share live-changing mindfulness skills where they are most needed.
The charity was established in recognition of the fact that it is often the very people who most need mindfulness who can least afford it. I have personally benefited immeasurably as a result of learning mindfulness techniques. They have enabled me to deal with the stress and anxiety that so many of us face in the modern world.
Ensuring the benefits of mindfulness and compassion training are available to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
I am doing this Bike Ride to support my amazing twin sister Vidyamala's charity The Breathworks Foundation so more people hear about what she has shared with the world.
I've been working for Breathworks for almost two years and repeatedly see evidence of the benefits that learning mindfulness brings. People tell me it has changed their lives, and I'm raising money for The Foundation so that more people can be financially supported to learn mindfulness and ease their suffering.
I have decided to take on this challenge for The Breathworks Foundation as I would love for everyone to have the opportunity to access their life changing courses. There are other human beings out there who are just in need of this support as others but are struggling financially to access this.
