Mindfulness in the Workplace Associate Andrew - Breathworks Andrew has been practicing mindfulness for 7 years and is the Workplace Policy Lead for the UK Mindfulness Initiative, set up by Parliament to support the use of mindfulness nationally. Andrew was co-author of ‘Building the case for Mindfulness in the Workplace’ (2017) and is an Accredited Breathworks Mindfulness trainer (July 2018).

Having achieved a law degree, Andrew joined the Civil Service and worked there for nearly 18 years predominantly in project and programme management. Most recently Andrew was the Programme Director of the Building Safety Portfolio (BSP) at the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government, established following the Grenfell fire tragedy, where he designed the BSP as a ‘mindful programme’. Andrew has also brought Mindfulness into his senior leadership roles at the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Transport for London.
